At Astropad, the team believes that, just as bicycles enable people to travel faster and more efficiently, products can help people imagine and create new things. These are the kinds of products that inspire them, and they remain committed to building them.
Astropad was founded in 2013 by two software engineers who met at Apple in 2007. However, their journey truly began in the 1990s when, though separated by continents, they both sat mesmerized in front of an original Macintosh, captivated by the creative potential Steve Jobs’ “bicycle for your mind” could unlock.
These early experiences sparked a shared belief in technology's ability to help people create. It didn't sit well with them when, in the early 21st century, they observed powerful mobile devices being used primarily for time-wasting applications. In response to this trend, they developed Astropad Studio and Luna Display—technologies specifically designed for the creative community.
